Quality, environment and safety management systems are an integral part of our approach to sustainability as they ensure optimal management of our relationship with stakeholders (shareholders, customers, suppliers, public administration and financial system).

Sunel Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) division makes sure the Group is compliant with environmental and safety standards, while promoting an internal culture that fosters staff health and well-being and respect for the environment in which we operate.

Every Sunel project is designed and built by solar industry’s experts who live by our safety and quality culture. We ensure our people go home safe each day and that the systems that we build have the quality necessary to last for the designed system life. Whether we are building on a rooftop in a dense urban area, or a ground mount in a remote agriculture field, our safety and quality standards do not waiver. We live by these values for our own integrity and to ensure that our systems are generating the greatest value possible for our customers.

We enable each member of our construction teams to be their own safety and quality champions by ensuring that safety and quality are part of our cultural and way of operating. Sunel has a dedicated safety and quality department that staffs safety and quality specialists who oversee our environmental, safety, health and quality policies and programs. They train, inspect and coach throughout construction, as well as provide final scored audits to ensure that the project teams are continuously focused on safety and quality throughout and up to system hand-off to the customer.

SunelForAll is the solar energy philanthropic program, which was started to serve underprivileged and disadvantaged communities who still don’t have access to electricity, particularly in rural areas mainly located in Sub-Sahara.

Working with solar project stakeholders will allow the Sunel team to create philanthropic programs suited to the needs of the communities in which the company’s solar installations are constructed. The impacts of these initiatives are long term, scaleable and copyable. They are tailored to the needs of the community through the insights and collaboration with the solar project stakeholders.
